Commercial UV-C Products

The proprietary processes used in OmniAire In Duct Air Purifiers are designed to treat the moving air in the ventilation system. There are only thousandths of a second to deliver the sufficient UV charge needed to destroy the bio-chemical contaminants that travel throughout the ventilation system.

A common misconception is that a UV lamp installed in a duct will treat all the air passing by it. In fact, at just 2 inches from the surface of the lamp the efficiency drops more than 80%, and continues to decline as the distance from the lamp increases.

Other manufacturers use UV-C stick lights installed perpendicular to the airflow. When an OmniAire In Duct Air Purifier is installed the UV lamp is in a reflective aluminum tube which is parallel to the air stream. This allows the contaminants in the air to spend 2,400% more contact time with the UV lamp than with a stick type purifier, resulting in a much higher kill rate.

OmniAire In Duct Air Purifiers are designed to be on when the ventilation fan is on. As the air continually circulates through the ventilation system the purifier will bring the level of contamination down. With every pass more and more contaminants are destroyed. In a typical application the purifier will have treated over 80% of the contaminants in the air within 2 hours.

Designed to be installed in the return or supply plenum of the heating/ventilation system.  As the airflow passes through the Aluminum Reflective Tube, this High Efficiency purifier uses a proprietary split UV-C/UV-V (germicidal/oxidizing) lamp to destroy chemical and biological contaminants that would otherwise have been distributed throughout the ventilation system.  Several air exchanges will purify all the air.

UV BIO-WALL QUATTRO

The QUATTRO is designed as a Light Commercial In-Duct UV Air Purifier. The QUATTRO can treat the entire duct at one time, destroying up to 99.9% of the biological and chemical contaminants in the air-stream.
The Quattro includes three (3) 18” High-Intensity Pure Fused Quartz UVC Germicidal Lamps and one (1) 18” High-Intensity Pure Fused Quartz UVC / UVV Lamp, which are attached to four (4) Anodized Aluminum Parabolic Reflectors and are mounted parallel to the air-stream. Adjustable mounting brackets permit the Lamps and Reflectors to be extended up to 15” from the duct wall so the assembly can be positioned in the center of the duct-work, creating a wall of Germicidal UV energy up to 24” deep.
There is no purifier on the market that can match the power, intensity and dwell time that the UV Bio-Wall series is able to deliver.
-Requires a 7” by 24” vertical opening in duct work
-Not waterproof, if mounted outside must be placed in watertight case
-Treats 100% of the air, can be installed in either the supply or the return plenum ductwork

UV BIO-WALL

The UV Bio-Wall provides a “barrier wall” of UV Energy destroying biological and chemical contaminants passing through it.
Each Bio-Wall has 5 High Intensity 19mm Pure Fused Quartz Lamps, which are mounted to Anodized Parabolic Reflectors that reflect the full 360° of Germicidal   Radiation. The Bio-Wall is mounted parallel to the air-stream in order to maximize the contaminant’s contact time with the UV Energy.
The number and size (can be up to 60” long) of Bio-Walls will depend on the size of the duct, the velocity of the air moving within the duct, the specific contaminants to be treated and the desired percentage of kill.
Provide us with the duct size, air velocity (CFM or FPM) and percentage of fresh air. We will do the sizing for you, providing real time kill per pass for your specific application.
