Carbon Filters

OdorGuard 600 - Activated Carbon Filters

All OmniAire HEPA negative air machines can accommodate 2" deep OdorGuard carbon filters in addition to the 2" primary/secondary particulate filter on the intake side. OdorGuard filters have low air resistance, high gas adsorption and high capacity. Designed for the gas phase, the 60% granular activated carbon has nearly 5 million square feet of surface area per pound and is designed to remove odors and gaseous pollutants from air. The selection of the carbon filter depends on the type and amount of the gaseous pollutants and duration of the project.

Applications these filters are commonly used for:

Disaster and Restoration Projects   Floor Covering, Laminate Adhesives, Wood Refinishing

Institutional Buildings                     Hospitals, Convalescent Homes, Clinics, Veterinary Clinics

Labs, Classrooms, Offices              Paper Mills, Chemical Processing, Food Processing

Apartments and Lodging Facilities   Libraries, Labs, Archives

Residential Air Problems                Mortuaries, Meth Lab Cleanup, Industrial Plants

Mold Abatement, Mold Removal

Heavy Duty Filters

VaporTrap carbon filters are recommended when gaseous contaminants, continuously generated, require a large amount of activated carbon. The VaporTrap is a disposable V- Bank filter with bulk granular carbon. It has the same frame size as the HEPA filter and can be installed in an OmniAire HEPA negative air machine in place of the HEPA. Installed in a special housing it can be used in conjunction with the HEPA filter as well. The VaporTrap filters are available with coconut, carbon or custom blend media with caustic, phosphoric acid or Whetherite media for war gasses and many other applications.

VaporTrap filters with metal frames are available in the following sizes:

24"x12" x11.5" deep

24"x18"x11.5" deep

24"x24"x11.5" deep

If you are unsure of the proper carbon filter for your particular application please contact us and we will be happy to research and recommend the proper filter or combination of filters to remove a specific contaminant.
